We Are Forever - A Poem

 

WE ARE FOREVER

We are dark, haunted people traveling in a

different sphere of knowledge, a different scheme

of colors. We are free to walk alone in a wild

place. Fearless of the storms we weather; the pain

wrenching at our hearts with iron teeth.

We are blind to the injustices thrown like lions at

 our feet, we pass them by, travel onward.  We are

forever. We are endless, timeless warriors. We are

a moment in the eternity of an endless being. We

are children of an infinite father leading us from

life to life, from love to joy to sorrow, over and

over and over, never tiring of the search, the

thirst for knowledge, the quest for growth, the

hunt for the place where treasure

lies, the Home we all must return to.
