THEM - A Poem

 

THEM

(With Deference To Those Men Who Are Not Described Here)

Men and their toys have ruined the world

Their bombs, their guns, their flags unfurled,

Degrading women, corrupting kids,

Controlling our minds, our bodies, our ids,

Starving the Earth, making her bleed,

Stealing sustenance from those in need,

Binding the hearts of those who would love,

Always taking, enough is NEVER enough.

How do we change the boy within

And keep him from becoming one of THEM?
